News from Haven of Hope

First, I want to thank each of you who have supported the Haven of
Hope in Fruitdale these past months. For those of you who aren't
familiar with the Haven, it is a drug and alcohol rehab center for
women. It is under the direction of Mission of Hope which was
established in 1971. When Fruitdale Baptist Church closed, the
facility was donated to Mission of Hope. the Haven has been open
since April 2016 and has graduated many clients from their 13 week
program. Most all the ladies have been saved and baptized during
this time. They had never been to church or knew the love that is
available to them thru this program.

At this time, the Haven has a great need for new floor covering in
the chapel area. The carpet is over 35 years old and in very bad
condition. Traffic is extremely heavy in there on a daily basis and
a durable, washable, scrubable floor covering is necessary. So far,
almost $2000.00 has been donated and another $4000.00 is needed as
per the estimate that Porter Flooring submitted. We are gathering
other estimates but $6000 is the goal we are working toward.

Mission of Hope operates on donations only and accepts no government
funding therefore no interference in teaching the Bible and God's
love. Would you please pray about this matter and give according to
what God directs to this need. Checks may be made to Mission of Hope
and designated for Haven of Hope and mailed to Haven of Hope, 82
Magnolia St., Fruitdale, AL 36539 or

I thank you from the bottom of my heart and invite you to visit this
facility. Stephanie Hepburn is in charge and will gladly give you a
